Are the 80s considered vintage yet?
In my house in Washington, DC is a Bang and Olufsen stereo and video system that was installed around 1988-1990 (I will research and provide exact dates later). I would like to find someone who is interested in making an offer for the entire collection and will pick them up.
Two Beolab Penta Speakers--These were working before I moved them out of the living room. However, one of the cables was broken off in moving one of the speakers.
Beogram 5500 Turntable--Last I tried this was still working.
Beocord 5500 Cassette recorder--There currently is a tape stuck in it.
Beogram CD 5500-- Cranky. Sometimes the disc tray does not want to open.
MX 5000 TV Set--not working. There was a "pop" a few years ago and I lost the picture.
Motorized stand (for TV) - MS 5000. Last I checked this still works (it turns the TV in the direction of the remote control...cool!)
Beolink 1000 (Remote control). There are two and one still works.
Master Control Link 2--there are two still installed in the walls that work. There is one that was working but has been removed from the wall.
Beomaster 500 receiver--Still working
There are also drawers full of misc plugs and wires that will convey.
I will post pictures if interested.
The Beovox 3000 speakers were stolen...bummer!
